New Car Insurance – How to Get the Cheapest Rates

Posted on November 3, 2009 at 10:30 am in

So you just purchased the car of your dreams, or you’re about to, and you want to get the best new car insurance at the best rate. Here’s how to do it.

New Car Insurance

When you buy a new car your loan company will require a certain amount of new car insurance to protect itself in case your car is damaged or stolen.

If you don’t get your own insurance, your loan company or dealer will get it for you and, believe me, it won’t be cheap. The last time I purchased a car the difference between my loan company’s insurance rate and the rate I got myself was more than $1,000.

So the first thing you need to do is go shopping for your own insurance and compare rates.

Comparing Rates

The easiest and fastest way to get cheap rates is to go to a car insurance comparison site (see links below). Here you can get multiple rate quotes from a number of car insurance companies so you can compare them and choose the best rate.

Once you’re on the site you’ll be asked to fill out a questionnaire so you can tailor your insurance to fit your specific needs. As you fill it out you’ll be able to view a list of discounts and include them in your auto insurance policy.

Here are some new car insurance discounts worth considering:

* Raising your deductible by a couple of hundred dollars can save you hundreds of dollars a year on your premium.

* Installing an auto alarm and ant-theft device can get you a good-sized discount.

* Dropping unnecessary coverage like medical and towing coverage if you already have them will save you money.

Comparing Companies

After you choose a car insurance company you want to make sure that company will give you good service, especially when it comes to paying your claims.

A good way to see how well a company treats its customers is to go to Epinions.com. Here you’ll find reviews of all the major insurance companies written by actual customers, plus testimonials on how they were treated and what their claims experiences were.

You can also go to your state’s insurance department website to see what claims have been filed against a particular company. If your state doesn’t provide this information, you can get it from the California Department of Insurance website – www.insurance.ca.gov.

Very Cheap Car Insurance In Texas

Posted on November 3, 2009 at 10:30 am in

When done properly, buying a used car is economically responsible. If you are buying a used car in Texas, you undoubtedly want cheap car insurance in Texas. To get affordable car insurance for your “new” used car, start from the beginning.

Pay for the car upfront. Many people choose not to purchase brand new cars because auto insurance for new cars is notoriously more expensive than auto insurance for pre-owned cars. There are several reasons why car insurance is more expensive for new cars, and one of those reasons is that new cars usually have to be financed. When you finance a car, the finance company or lender most often requires you to purchase full coverage car insurance, which is more expensive than liability car insurance. By saving your money until you can afford to pay for your used car completely upfront, you will not need a financer or lender, and you will be able to purchase whatever amount of car insurance you want, as long as it meets the legal requirements in Texas.

Bring an automotive whiz with you. It is aggravating to search for and finally purchase your dream pre-owned vehicle, only to get home and find out there are many necessary repairs to be made. When you shop for your car, bring along someone knowledgeable about auto mechanics. Let him or her test drive the vehicle with you, take a look under the hood, and do any other inspection of the car. If your car insurance company knows that everything is working properly, you are more likely to get cheap car insurance in Texas.

Look for safety features. Safety features come with used cars just as they do new cars, so you want to look at cars with additional safety features, too. Anti-theft alarms, anti-lock brakes, child proof locks, and air bags are all excellent safety features to have and are impressive to your car insurance company.

Which Companies practice search engine marketing arbitrage?

Posted on November 3, 2009 at 9:11 am in

Hello, I am looking for a directory of companies which practice search engine marketing arbitrage. Example: If I have a product to sell, I can pay them on a commission/CPA basis and they will pay the search engines on a PPC basis.

Thank you for your response in advance.

You should most deffinetly do an affiliate program.
Two of the best networks to work with are commissionjunction.com and kowabunga.com.

Before you do this though, be sure to have a good SEO campaign in place, make sure your site is usable and can sell your product, have multiple ways to capture non buying user information like a news letter signup or resource download.

Then you can do email marketing to them later.

let me knwo if you have further questions. adam@adammarc.com

What does your car insurance company do for you?

Posted on November 3, 2009 at 9:11 am in

If you are not at fault in an accident, what will your insurance company do in order to get your car fixed? How much help will they give you, or are we supposed to settle everything, make the calls etc. with the other carriers insurance. I was hit from behind while I was stopped at a yield sign. The other drivers fault ( a no-brainer). Yet I am getting different information from my agent, the other drivers agent, and even the auto-repair shop !!! Any feedback will help greatly.

To answer the main question, the insurance company’s responsibility is to indemnify you or another party in accordance with the coverages you selected and the terms and conditions of your insurance policy.

If you are rearended and your vehicle is driveable, you have the option of going through the other person’s insurance for your damages. However, they must complete an investigation of the accident and will not pay for anything until they have done so. They may require you to meet an appraiser to view your vehicle. They may also wish to take a recorded interview. Cooperating with their insurance company will just make matters easier.

If you are not happy with the settlement, and provided that you have collision coverage with your carrier, you may choose to use your carrier to handle the damages minus your deductible, and they will pursue the other carrier through a process called subrogation. Your job is basically done.

If someone steals my car during a test drive, will my insurance cover me?

Posted on November 3, 2009 at 9:11 am in

I am considering selling my car, and letting local buyers take it for a drive by themselves. If someone steals the car during the test drive, and I report the car stolen to the police, will my car insurance company cover me for the auto theft even though I gave the person the keys and consented to letting them operate the car?

Yes, as long as you are paying for Comprehensive (theft, fire, vandalism) coverage, it would be covered in the event of a theft. You would need to file a police report and submit the claim to your insurance company.

How much does my car insurance go up after my first ticket?

I got my Drivers License a month back. Today I rented a car (and fortunately with a full insurance cover) and ran into another car and got a ticket that says "Inability to control car" or something like that. I’m planning to buy a car pretty soon. Could any of you give me an idea as to how much my insurance will be effected as a result of this mishap?
