Which is the best Search Engine Marketing (SEM) blog?

Posted on November 12, 2009 at 12:14 am in

I’ve found some interesting blogs like SEOmoz, Jonathan Mendez, shoemoney, searchenginejournal, martinez, Avinash Kaushish etc, but am finding it difficult to follow so many. Any expert opinions out there on which are the best blogs in this field? Can be abt SEO or PPC. Thanks!

In my opinion SEOmoz indeed is a great SEM. how much time is given for car insurance company to settle a claim?

Posted on November 12, 2009 at 12:14 am in

my car was hit in parking lot and insurance is dragging its feet to investigate. how much time is officially allowed for this investigation and what are my rights bacause it has been 30 days today. i have a full insurance on this car and insurance company is investigating as a fraud claim!. insurance from metlife!

Claims being investigated for fraud are under different guidelines than claims that are not being investigated for fraud. and when a claim has been brought into the SIU department that info isn’t shared with the person being investigated. But when they are brought into SIU, it’s for a darn good reason, whether you’re committing fraud or not. By law the insurance has to investigate suspicious claims, whether or not it actually is.

As for what ‘cece’ recommends, contacting the state…you can do that, that’s your option. But once they are aware your claim is being investigated for fraud–you’re done.

Can i get a courtesy car cover separate to my insurance?

i have been offered a very good deal on my car insurance. The only problem is there is no courtesy car cover. Can i get a separate courtesy car cover from a different company along side with the insurance quote. Or is it best to book one if only i have a car accident?

A courtesy car if yours is in the shop? Why not simply choose a shop that furnishes a free loaner? Then you don’t have to worry about a rental/courtesy car

What type of car insurance should I get in Michigan?

I understand that Michigan is a no-fault state, and as a result everyone gets this PLPD insurance or something. I’m moving from Pennsylvania and had full coverage on my car for about $90/month. I thought PA and MI were both no-fault, but it seems different and the rates I’m being quoted for the same insurance in MI are higher. I’m so confused!! Also, right now I am on State Farm. I’m 25 but on my mom’s plan, and I am getting married/changing my last name and I now live in Michigan so it is past time for me to pay for my own insurance.
Right now I’m on State Farm, and there are agents both here and in PA, but their rates seem to be high.

Michigan is a wierd state for insurance. If your car is worth anything, you will have to have physical damage coverage. Reason: If you are in an accident, the most you can collect is $500.00 from the other insurance company ( it is called a mini tort) unless you ae legally parked at the time of loss. As the laws are this way, the rates are higher as the Insurance co’s cannot collect the damages that they paid out from the other person’s insurance co due to the law only allowing the mini tort $500.00. Also, the closer you are to Detroit, the higher the rates due to the high incidence of auto theft in that area.
