I got rear ended yesterday and got whiplash. Just got the police report, turns out the driver had a canceled license and no proof of insurance. The car was a lease and im thinking that the driver is not the owner since her licence was canceled and no insurance. My question is who has to pay for my car damages or replacement? I am going to have to sue the other driver or does the owners car insurance compensate me?
