What is the Search Engine Market Share in India, Malaysia and Singapore?

Posted on December 26, 2009 at 1:41 pm

I know that Baidu rules in China and Yandex in Russia, but what about these other countries? Any ideas?

The only market shares I have are China (Baidu 60% and Google China 10%), Japan (Google Japan and Yahoo Japan) and Google Germany has the most market share in Germany. If I had to guess I would say they have one search engine that has the highest share with Google and Yahoo country specific engines in the top 3.

Will the other car insurance company still reimbursement although its been 6 months since I filed the accident

Posted on December 26, 2009 at 1:41 pm

Back in August, a woman in a store parking lot that worked there backed into my car. She caused almost $2,000 worth of damage. I called her insurance company several times and they said they were doing a further investigation. She wasn’t on the insurance holder’s policy although there was insurance on the car. I lost most of my information on the accident.
-Can I still be reimbursed for the damages or is it too late?
-What should I do next?

if you remember her company call them and see what is going on. yes, you are still entitled to compensation from the accident. one of the best things you can do is contact YOUR insurance agent and have them get involved. if you have full coverage on your car you CAN claim it on your policy so you can get your car fixed. if the other person IS at fault, your company will subrogate back to her company for reimbursement. it happens all the time.

Sha’s Car Crash recreated in Google Sketchup Animated HQ

Posted on December 26, 2009 at 2:01 am

WATCH IT IN HQ. It looks amazing

I was involved in a car crash on Oct 2nd 2008. Now I clearly had a green light although no kind soul was there to help be a witness. All the cars just passed by me too busy to help out someone in need. I was bleeding from glass cuts and had some back injury which progressively got worse.

Now my insurance company tells me that the guy who ran the red light actually claimed that he had a green light. Of course anything to put doubt into the insurance companies eyes and consider both parties had some equal faults. I personally hate to see the guy get away with stating that he had the green light.

Now the main issue was believing someone is to take their word. Anyone can lie and fabricate… so I pretty much feel like an innocent man charged for murder. No one can just believe one side wholly.

I could not forget that day as it was pretty much embedded in my dreams while I sleep, my day dreams as I ponder and my nightmares. So I thought I would create a CG animation of the encounter. The animation was done on Google Sketchup 7 using layers for a quick and dirty method. I apologize for the rushed production quality as I had to rush it to show it to a Digital Media department head. Since I was in probation due to my poor performance in courses for the previous semester.

I hope you enjoy this video and consider recreating your bad accidents. This is for your record and to give everyone else around you a perspective for your encounter. Also please I urge anyone who has witnessed a car crash to stop and help the people involved. Take your judgment of who was at fault and help someone who was innocent in the matter. Your help could go a long way.

My car is the green civic LX 2003 on the right lane heading north of Van Wyke expressway. The car that hit me was heading down 101st ave.

This took place in New York City, Queens

The song is: “The Storm Begins” by Jennifer Haines

Will my car insurance company pay for damages if someone else was driving my car at the time of the accident?

Posted on December 25, 2009 at 3:41 am

okay, if wondering. for example; My brother borrows my car, and wrecks it, and he is not listed as a driver in my car insurance, will my insaurance company(Statefarm) pay for the damages for my car?

yes they will and you still will be subject to the deductible. If your brother drives your car all the time I reccomend you putting him on your insurance, so your insurance company wont deny the claim.

The car insurance company is ripping me off. What are my legal options?

Posted on December 22, 2009 at 5:40 am

I was in an accident that was not my fault. The other guy’s insurance is saying my car is totaled and I disagree. What are my LEGAL options? Who do I sue, the insurance company or the guy who hit me?

Option 1: go to your own insurance carrier and see if they have a different opinion about the cost to repair and the value of your vehicle.
Option 2: see if you can get at least two collision repairers to write an estimate low enough to repair vs total your car (warning: if you choose option 2 you will likely not get enough money to repair the car properly)
Option 3: locate and list every car for sale in a 50 mile radius that is as much like yours as possible, including mileage, options and condition and establish a mean average of the value — then compare that to what the insurer is stating is the market value of your car.
Option 4: withdraw your claim and pay for the repairs yourself.
Bottom line: you can sue everyone in sight but it won’t get you a thin dime if the insurer is offering you a fair settlement. Trust me , they don’t WANT your dumb car. State law dictates that once repair costs reach or exceed the value or a percentage of the value of a vehicle it MUST be declared a total loss. No insurance company in the world is going to break the law just to close your claim.
One more warning — the insurance company has an ARMY of lawyers and they are not afraid you you or your lawyer whoever he/she/it may be. Save yourself a lot of grief and money and try working with the adjuster vs against him/her.
